Majestic Joy Papillons – Show/Breeding Prospect

1. The Buyer will pay the sum of $________________ for the Dog. Total payment is due in full when dog is picked up. Seller does not accept personal checks. Cash is the only accepted payment.
2. The pedigree provided to the Buyer by the Seller is correct to the best of the Seller's knowledge at the time of this sale.
3. The Dog has been determined to be a Show prospect / Breeding prospect.
A. Dog is indicated to be of a Show prospect, the Dog has the potential to be shown and titled in AKC conformation competition. There is no guarantee that the Dog will consistently win or place in the show ring, but with proper care and training the Dog should be of acceptable temperament and conformation to perform satisfactorily in conformation events.
Buyer understands that special care is necessary for a show dog and to do well in conformation competition the Dog must have special care, including proper training, exercise, grooming and nutrition, throughout its lifespan. Buyer is responsible for all show expenses, daily expenses, veterinary treatment and other care of the Dog,. The Dog is free of disqualifying faults under the AKC breed standard at the time of this sale. There is no guarantee on the disqualifying faults of height after the time of sale. There is no guarantee that the Dog will finish its AKC title. Seller makes no representations or warranties regarding the level of performance of this dog in any competitive activities.
B. Dog is indicated to be of a Breeding prospect, there is no guarantee that the Dog will be capable of breeding. Seller makes no representations or warranties regarding the level of performance of this dog in a breeding program.
4. Once an AKC conformation championship title is earned, Seller is to receive a copy of the AKC Championship certificate and an 8x10 show, color photograph of the Dog, within 30 days.
5. If the Dog is a male, the Seller retains the right to stud service for his lifetime. There shall be no fees charge for such stud services. Dog can be used on bitches owned or in part by seller.
6. The prefix of the Dog's name is “Majestic Joy”, The Breeder will have the Dog registered with "The American Kennel Club" and will provide the certificate to the Buyer. The papers will have full Showing and Breeding rights given to the buyer, as owner solely.
7. The Seller guarantees that the Dog has had initial vaccinations and has been dewormed. Health papers from the Seller's veterinarian will be provided at the time of the sale. The Seller had carefully bred this Dog from parents that have had their eyes checked for PRA, had the parents patella's checked for patella luxation, and have good heart sounds. Seller does not guarantee this dog's patellas. To the best of the Seller's knowledge, the Dog is sold without health defects. However, the Seller does not guarantee the health of the Dog, Dog can be returned to the Seller for a refund within the seventy-two (72) hour period. The Seller is not responsible for any medical treatment or other care related to the Dog, regardless of the cause of the health condition.
8. The Seller offers a seventy-two (72) hour period following the purchase of the Dog in which the Buyer may have the Dog checked by a veterinarian at the Buyer's expense. If the Buyer's veterinarian finds the Dog to be in poor health, the Buyer has the right to return the Dog for a refund of the Dog's purchase price. The Dog must be returned within twenty-four (24) hours of the veterinarian check and the return must be made at the Buyer's expense. No money will be returned after this time.
9. The Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, appearance, temperament and care of the Dog. The Buyer agrees to secure such vaccinations and boosters as indicated by the Buyer's veterinarian.
10. Both Seller and Buyer shall initial all deletions, additions and changes to this contract. No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except as stated herein. In the event of dispute, the State of Illinois will have jurisdiction over the matter.

If the Buyer is unable to care for the Dog in any way, or does not want the Dog, the Buyer is to notify the Seller. Seller has first right of refusal at original purchase price of dog. Dog must be returned intact. AKC registration papers must be returned with the Dog, signed over to the Seller. Or the Seller must be able to approve a new owner for the Dog. The Dog is not to be resold or gifted to any person or group without the written consent of the Seller.
Seller and Buyer agree to abide to this contract. This is a two-page contract.
